PRIME FAST Exhibition Bridges the Worlds of Formula 1 and Czech Art
From October 30 to November 29, 2026, Artium by KKCG presents original artworks that combine authentic Formula 1 car components with raw concrete and Czech glass. The exhibition also features a show car of the McLaren MCL40 Formula 1 race car. Closing this year's Line of Responsibility exhibition series, PRIME FAST explores the relationship between speed, time, and permanence.

In Formula 1, thousandths of a second can determine the outcome of a race, while concrete takes weeks to cure and crystals grow at their own pace. This contrast lies at the heart of PRIME FAST, in which the artistic duo PRASKLO, formed by Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková, brings together the world of motorsports and natural materials.
What Can Visitors Expect to See?
The centerpiece of the exhibition is a McLaren MCL40 show car from the McLaren Mastercard F1 Team, designed in accordance with the new regulations for the 2026 season. Measuring more than five meters in length, the car offers visitors a rare opportunity to view a Formula 1 car up close.
Displayed alongside the car is a series of original sculptural works combining racing components, concrete, and Czech glass. The glass elements were created in collaboration with the Jílek and Preciosa glassworks and master glassmaker Martin Janecký. The exhibition also features a substantial piece of cast glass weighing approximately 80 kilograms.
"PRASKLO works with materials that cannot be rushed or fully controlled. Time is not an obstacle here, but a creative partner. The contrast with the Formula 1 car brings this into sharp focus: what was designed for a fleeting moment gains permanence, and what once served performance becomes art."
Who Is Behind PRASKLO?
Czech art studio PRASKLO consists of Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková, whose work combines the rawness of concrete with the fragility of glass. Their creations have also gained international recognition. In 2019, PRASKLO was nominated for Best Product at Prague Design Week, and a year later, its vases were selected for the TRENDS 2020 collection at the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt. The studio's work also attracts international collectors, particularly in Japan and South Korea.
How Does the Exhibition Reflect Artium by KKCG's Mission?
PRIME FAST concludes this year's Line of Responsibility exhibition series, which has also featured works by Miroslava Klesalová, Kateřina Šťastná, and the artistic duo Alessandra Svatek and Matěj Hrbek.
This time, the theme of responsibility is expressed through respect for materials, natural processes, and the passage of time, which cannot be accelerated. The project also reflects the commitment of KKCG, an investment and innovation group, to supporting culture, creativity, and communities in the regions where it operates.
When Can Visitors See the Exhibition?
PRIME FAST is on view at Artium by KKCG from October 30 to November 29, 2026. The exhibition is curated by Linda K. Sedláková. Admission is free thanks to the support of Artium's founders and patrons, Karel and Štěpánka Komárek.
