KKCG Continues Its Support for Ukraine
MND, part of KKCG’s energy portfolio, continues to expand its activities in Ukraine. The company is supporting the development of a rehabilitation center in Lviv, working with the Olena Zelenska Foundation to restore healthcare facilities, and helping war veterans while contributing to the preservation of Ukraine’s cultural heritage. All these initiatives share a common focus on providing long-term support to local communities and contributing to the recovery of a country affected by war.

How Is MND Supporting Healthcare Recovery?
One of the most significant projects is the development of a rehabilitation complex in Lviv, which MND is preparing in cooperation with Lviv National Medical University and other local partners. The center is intended to provide long-term rehabilitation care for children, adults, and war veterans. MND is contributing approximately EUR 785,000 to the project. Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding and the completion of project preparations, the next step is to finalize a donation agreement that will allow construction to begin.
In partnership with the Olena Zelenska Foundation, the company is also supporting the restoration of healthcare facilities in the Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. MND has contributed approximately EUR 98,000 to the two projects, which focus on improving conditions for rehabilitation and follow-up care. One of them is already nearing completion.
What Role Does Support for Veterans Play?
Helping war veterans return to active lives is an important part of MND’s support efforts. The company therefore maintains its long-standing commitment to sports and rehabilitation activities that help veterans recover and reintegrate into everyday life.
This year, MND contributed approximately EUR 4,100 to a veterans’ archery tournament in the Lviv region. It also provided approximately EUR 12,300 to support a running event in Lviv’s Stryiskyi Park, bringing veterans and the wider public together.
How Does MND Support Local Communities?
MND has been operating in Ukraine since 2014. Alongside its energy operations, the company has maintained a long-term commitment to supporting local communities, education, and families affected by the war.
In cooperation with the Olena Zelenska Foundation, MND participates in the Schools of Superheroes project, which enables children to continue their education while undergoing long-term treatment in hospitals. In Poltava, the company funded equipment for more than 30 foster families and continues to develop partnerships with local universities.
Support for critical infrastructure is another important part of the company’s efforts. During the first winter of the war, MND arranged deliveries of generators to help keep essential infrastructure operational, and the company continues to provide this support.
How Are Other KKCG Group Entities Contributing?
Support for Ukraine also includes the activities of the KKFF Foundation, which focuses on humanitarian assistance, education, and the preservation of Ukrainian cultural heritage. At the same time, MND is involved in projects promoting Ukraine’s sustainable recovery in cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic.
One example is the Ark for Ukraine project, in which MND plays a significant role. The project uses mobile units to help preserve books, archives, and other valuable artifacts that form part of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
Support for Ukraine therefore extends beyond immediate humanitarian needs. It brings together the restoration of healthcare services, assistance for families and veterans, education, and cultural heritage preservation. Through the activities of MND and the KKFF Foundation, these efforts address not only urgent needs but also contribute to the country’s long-term recovery and the resilience of local communities.
