Mindsquared Acquires Communications Agency Commlab

Led by Petra Pipková, Mindsquared is one of the largest media and communications agencies in the Czech Republic. It has more than 65 employees and over 80 clients.

“Expanding our group to include a major public relations agency was a natural step that reflects the growing demand for full service media solutions. We see PR as a key area that complements our consulting services and will strengthen our strategic approach for both existing clients and, above all, new ones,” said Petra Pipková, CEO of Mindsquared.

Commlab was founded 11 years ago by Michaela Studená, Jiří Ďurovič, and Jan Skalník. The agency will continue to operate under its existing name and with its current team of more than 20 people. Studená will remain CEO, Jiří Ďurovič will continue as Managing Director, and Jan Skalník as COO.

“Joining forces with Mindsquared is the strategic culmination of our project-based collaborations to date. The integration will give our clients access to comprehensive services in media buying, media planning, digital marketing, and specialized data expertise. Becoming part of a large communications group is naturally also a challenge for us, and one that we greatly value,” said Michaela Studená, CEO of Commlab.

In addition to integrating their services, Mindsquared and Commlab plan to develop new offerings together. These will include technological and analytical tools designed to help the agencies respond even more effectively to changes and trends in communications and the digital environment.

Through these steps, Mindsquared is strengthening its position in strategic consulting and business growth, which fall under KKCG’s Diversified Ventures pillar.
