In a transaction completed in the first month of this year, DataSpring took over the Software Development Division of Springtide Ventures (STV). From now on, software development services will be provided under the DataSpring brand. The STV development team will be incorporated into the DataSpring's Business Solutions Division. Springtide Ventures will continue to focus fully on its core business – identifying and supporting high-potential start-up companies in the Central European region. Both DataSpring and Springtide Ventures are members of the KKCG Group.
The main reasons that have lead to incorporating the STV software development team into DataSpring stem from a strategy that aims to consolidate selected ICT services and operations within the KKCG Group under the DataSpring brand. The software team will help create new business opportunities to facilitate the further growth of the Business Solutions Division, which primarily focuses on the integration, visualization, and advanced analysis of data. Furthermore, the development team will provide software support for new services offered by DataSpring.
"We are pleased to welcome on board a large group of professionals with extensive know-how who will help us expand our field of expertise and existing service portfolio. We see this transaction as a great opportunity for DataSpring not only with regard to services provided within KKCG, but also, and more importantly, as regards search for new business opportunities and the acquisition of customers in a formerly unexplored segment," explains DataSpring's CEO Jiří Skopový.
