In April 2026, Artium by KKCG a multicultural space created to spark unexpected encounters between people and art, was host to Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week.

Opening its doors to one of Central Europe’s most important fashion platforms, Artium transformed its architectural setting into a meeting point for art, fashion, urbanism, and contemporary culture.
Artium is a place where different forms of creativity intersect and where art enters everyday life in new contexts. Hosting Prague Fashion Week was a continuation of this vision, bringing fashion into dialogue with architecture, the public realm, and the rhythm of the city.
The urban character of Bořislavka reflects Fashion Week’s own ambition to move beyond a closed industry circle and place fashion within a broader cultural and social environment.
“The new location offers a different urban context and at the same time allows us to work with a completely new scenographic approach to the shows.”
This year’s Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week placed a strong emphasis on a younger generation of designers and emerging talent, who are looking for new ways to present fashion while addressing responsibility in its wider sense; from sustainability in the fashion and textile industry to more thoughtful and inclusive portrayals of the human body.
These themes resonate closely with Artium’s current focus: the Line of Responsibility. The reflective approach of young designers to the challenges of today aligns naturally with Artium’s mission to open new perspectives and encourage deeper reflection through art.
At Artium, Fashion Week became another expression of the space’s broader purpose. Bringing art closer to people, creating unexpected encounters, and inspiring new ways of seeing ourselves and the world around us.
An especially strong moment of connection came during Zoltán Tóth’s show. The designer’s catwalk featured Allwyn Champs, young sports talent supported by Allwyn, part of KKCG’s entertainment business. The presence of the Allwyn Champs brought fashion, sport, and youth together in a powerful symbolic gesture.
Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week serves as an incubator for emerging talent through initiatives such as the Mattoni Young Fashion Stars competition. This year’s winner, Barbora Kotěšovcová, will receive financial support and the opportunity to present her own show during the Spring Summer 2027 edition. Other finalists will showcase their work at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, also supported by Allwyn.
