At KKCG, we believe in making a positive difference in the places where we operate. This belief is deeply reflected in the work of MND, part of KKCG’s energy pillar, which has provided vital support to Ukrainian foster families through a partnership with the Olena Zelenska Foundation.

MND Ukraine donated 2.5 million CZK (5 million UAH) to help large foster families in the Poltava region. The contribution allowed the Foundation of the First Lady of Ukraine to purchase essential home equipment, school supplies and children’s necessities for 32 families, improving daily life for dozens of children growing up amid the challenges of war.
During the delivery of the aid, representatives from the Olena Zelenska Foundation, MND Ukraine and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kyiv visited the home of Hryhorii and Natalia Pichkur, foster parents raising seven children. The family received items including a washing machine, laptops for remote learning, furniture and educational materials.
“Our contribution is the least we can do in such difficult times for Ukraine. Helping children knows no borders,” said Lukáš Svozil, Head of MND Ukraine. “We believe that every child deserves a safe home. If we can help make that possible, we will.”
The initiative is part of MND’s long term commitment to social responsibility in the regions where it operates. Since the start of the war, MND together with the Karel Komárek Family Foundation has delivered humanitarian aid to affected communities, supported refugee programs in the Czech Republic and provided energy equipment such as diesel generators for cities like Irpin.
“Humanitarian aid for large foster families is an example of how meaningful assistance can transform entire households. We want every child to have a home, care and the opportunity to grow in love and safety. Thanks to partnerships like this, more than 600 foster families have already received essential help.”
