KKCG, the investment and innovation group, has continued to invest in its senior international team with the appointment of Naida Buljugic as the Group Chief People and Culture Officer from July this year. Alongside her new duties, Buljugic will continue in her current role as Chief People and Culture Officer at KKCG’s lottery-led entertainment business, Allwyn. Buljugic’s appointment to KKCG’s leadership follows the arrival earlier this year of KKCG’s new Group Chief Legal Officer, David Koláček.
Karel Komárek, KKCG Founder and Chair of the Board, comments, “To support our continued international expansion, we want to recruit and develop the very best talent. Naida has proven time and again her ability to support organizations that are on exciting growth trajectories across markets, and I’m delighted that she is joining KKCG’s senior team.”
Buljugic brings a wealth of senior HR experience to the role. Before being appointed to her current role at Allwyn in 2023, she spent five years as Head of HR at Allwyn’s Casinos Austria business. She had previously worked in a range of senior cross-market roles at UniCredit Group over the course of nine years, including global responsibilities for Executive and Talent Development, Risk Management and Corporate, after starting as Head of HR for the Investment Banking division for Austria and CEE. Buljugic began her senior HR career at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
Given the importance of a successful and strategic people agenda at Allwyn to the overall KKCG business, Buljugic will continue to lead the People and Culture team at Allwyn.
Buljugic comments on her new role, “This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive the wider KKCG growth story, and the continued evolution of KKCG’s technology, energy and real estate businesses in Europe and the US, alongside that of Allwyn. Working with Karel and my colleagues in KKCG’s senior leadership, I am ambitious for what we can achieve for the business and for our people.”
