In 2025, Artium by KKCG confirmed its position as a distinctive cultural platform where contemporary art, music, and public life meet. Throughout the year, Artium continued to demonstrate how art can be a powerful tool for dialogue, innovation and community engagement, in line with the long-term values of the KKCG Group.

The Line of Courage theme, which shaped the emotional and artistic framework at the turn of 2024 and 2025, reached its conclusion in the spring. It was succeeded by the Line of Innovation, bringing new energy into space through visual art, interdisciplinary installations, and music. This evolution reflected artistic development and the broader mindset of KKCG: the courage to begin, and the discipline to innovate.
The exhibition program in 2025 showcased how Artium works with artists who respond sensitively to its unique architectural setting and urban context. Spring opened with a bold site-specific intervention Strength to Strength by Václav Kočí inspired by Formula 1 technology and created in dialogue with the McLaren Formula 1 showcar. It was followed by the exhibition Anywhere Between Black and White by Martin Moflár and Filip Švehla, which explored the possibilities and limitations of color through classical painting and spatial installations.
The year concluded with Broken Flowers by Michal Adamovský, an intellectually demanding exhibition that examined the fragile boundary between documentation and experiment, technology and ethics. Through these projects, Artium continued to offer visitors not only visual experiences, but also space for reflection on contemporary society.
Music remained a core pillar of Artium’s program. Concerts featured performances by young artists as part of the Dvořák Prague International Music Festival, as well as genre-spanning evenings with internationally renowned artists such as Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard. All benefit concerts continued to directly support youth education and artistic development through the KKFF scholarship programs.
Guided tours further strengthened Artium’s role as a learning platform. Informal early-evening concerts and interdisciplinary formats brought art closer to everyday life, encouraging visitors who may not otherwise seek out cultural institutions to engage with contemporary creativity.
Located in the Bořislavka Centre, the headquarters of the KKCG Group, Artium continues to benefit from the interplay between modern architecture and art. The space remains freely accessible to the public thanks to the long-term support of Karel and Štěpánka Komárek and the Karel Komárek Family Foundation.
In 2025, Artium further strengthened its role as a place where employees, neighbors, artists, and the wider public naturally meet. This daily interaction between art and community remains one of the core values of the project.
Following the successful year under the Line of Innovation, Artium will enter 2026 with a new unifying theme: the Line of Responsibility. This new curatorial direction will focus on the social role of art, sustainability, and the responsibility of creators, institutions and audiences in shaping the cultural landscape of the future.
Artium by KKCG continues to show that meaningful support of culture is not philanthropy alone, but a strategic investment in society, creativity and long-term public value. The program stands as a strong example of how business, art, and community can move forward together.
