Martin has 25 years of experience in the banking sector, having specialized in strategic development of retail products and services at both the local and international levels.

His previous professional career is intertwined with Erste Bank, where he served in various management positions from 1999 onwards. A graduate of the University of Economics in Prague and Oklahoma City University, he holds an EMBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, Arizona.
