Karel Komárek is KKCG’s founder and Chair. He is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with a thirty-year track record of building successful businesses across a broad range of sectors including leisure, entertainment, real estate, technology, transport and energy.
Karel Komárek understands the importance of consumer and market insights, cutting edge technology and design and combining them with drive, determination and a focus on long-term strategic value creation for success in today’s modern maritime businesses. He is driven by a desire to build and make a difference across the sectors where he operates, and maritime is no exception.
Karel Komárek is a passionate sailor and supporter of a wide range of maritime ventures.

Michal brings extensive investment experience and a track record of growing international businesses at pace and scale. In addition to his role at Azúr, Michal is KKCG’s Investment Director and Deputy Chief Investment Officer.

Executive Director, KKCG Maritime
Kamil is responsible for identifying and developing new investment opportunities across maritime and adjacent segments.
Prior to joining KKCG, he worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in London and New York and held corporate finance and management roles at Amazon and in the venture capital industry. Kamil is a graduate of the University of Warwick with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
